Buggy 6.60 map huh?

So Icefrog decided to patch some bugs that was revealed in 6.60, check his official post here

* Some minor performance optimizations
* Fixed a fatal error possible when 2 users with blademail active fight each other
* Fixed a desync bug when using -tips while other map languages are in the game
* Fixed Force Staff so it doesn't push you into an impassable terrain
* Fixed some bugs with RS and other modes like RD
* Fixed a group memory bug
* Fixed camera from moving when you pick a hero in RD
* Fixed pink player from not being able to pick the furthest hero in -CD
* Fixed a bug that sometimes caused Echo Stomp to not get dispelled upon damage
* Fixed some issues with Treant Protector's Eyes In The Forest
* Fixed a multiple quelling abuse
* Added a note in the tooltip about Kunkka not being able to use Quelling Blade
* Fixed a minor visual cooldown glitch with the MKB toggle
* Temporarily disabled -terrain snow. It was causing annoying visual side effects for all terrain modes when exploring terrain that had previously destroyed trees. I'll restore this functionality as soon as I can.
* Fixed some typos

This is just a quick bugfix patch to fix exploits being abused. More changes and balance tweaks will come soon in the next patch.

A recent headline on TorrentFreak.com , a well-known leecher’s blog in the cyberspace talked about the launch of BitBlinder.Apparently this smart company/community/people could turn this wish into reality.

(For those who don’t know what leecher is please check here)

Free is only free when you care to contribute something to this community. Not bad. Not bad at all.I mean the software itself is free but to use it you only have to be a relay in their network.

To add here:

Basically, the more relays in the network, the faster it is for everyone. If people could use the network without contributing, it would be slow and unusable (see Tor if you don't believe us). Besides, no one likes a leech!

A report on The Register talked about a recent trend of social engineer who used all kind of information in this cyberworld including this sad tragedy to impress the underworld lords.

I bet most of you have heard about fishing phishing aren’t ya? Well these crooks actually used a more advanced method to cheat peoples to their dark lair.

An innocent looking search result on search engine might be evils in disguise!

Through SEO poisoning, searches for reports related to the plane crash yield links that when opened trigger multiple redirections to various sites, which ultimately lead to download of rogue antivirus software.

Actually this redirections method has been there since ages.Bogus ‘anti-virus’ sites has been created since 2000 era (from my little experience) to influence people to ‘update’ or to try ‘new kind of anti-virus’ which happens to have trojans or worms inside.

Smart eh? But all for wrong reasons!

Whether motivated by ego or money, they shouldn’t have done this thing. I mean it’s ethically wrong to use other sadness to gain profits, not by this illegal way.

A big thank you to (ex)cdm for inviting me to contribute to his blog. I will do my best to write articles digne d’un eleve ingenieur.

Known (ex)cdm for about 6 years now. Went to the same uni as he did. We both love technology although mine is geared towards warfare.
